Home: Welcome

Children are in a world that is moving fast with very high expectations. They are being pulled in several different directions and pushed to move and develop quickly. It is crucial that we understand our children well and know where they thrive and what challenges them. When we understand a child's strengths and weaknesses, we are able to navigate appropriate supports and guide academic, social, emotional, and adaptive development. How can we go about that?

Neuropsychological evaluations focus on the whole child and allow us to discover a child's unique needs. While they are most often used to help children with learning difficulties, attention problems, and neurological issues, they are also used to help parents better understand their children. Understanding children from a cognitive and psychological perspective helps us best support them in their academic endeavors and in their relationships with others. This evaluation provides information about how a child's brain works and the strengths and challenges that play out in everyday life.
